Pigskin Pros Fantasy is an independent editorial index of hotels, organised into four categories: art hotels, capsule hotels, casino hotels and ice hotels. It is written from research and kept deliberately small — twelve properties at present, each described in prose rather than reduced to a row of specifications.

The index is geography-neutral. Properties are included because they are the clearest examples of their category, not because they sit in a particular market, and no country is treated as the home ground of this site.

We take no bookings, hold no inventory and sell no reservations. There are no star ratings here, no user reviews and no scores, because a twelve-entry index built from research has no business pretending to either. Where a property's own facilities are described, they are described as facilities — including, in the casino category, the gaming floor, which is noted as one part of a hotel rather than the whole of it.

Descriptions reflect the character of each property as published and understood at the time of writing. Hotels change: they renovate, they close for a season, they alter what they offer. Anything you read here should be confirmed with the property itself before you travel.
