Privacy Policy
Current version dated 9 October 2026
1. Who is responsible
This policy covers pigskinprosfantasy.com, an independent hotel guide. The editors decide how the limited personal data described below is handled and can be reached at hello@pigskinprosfantasy.com.
2. A guide you can read anonymously
There is nothing to sign up for, no login and no newsletter. You can read every page without telling us who you are, and we deliberately avoid analytics software.
3. When you email us
If you contact us directly, or use the contact form that hands a draft to your mail app, we receive what your message contains: typically your name, address and the text you wrote. That information serves one purpose only, which is reading and replying to you.
4. Server records
Our hosting provider's servers may note technical facts about each request, such as the IP address, browser type, page address and time. Those records help keep the site running and protected from abuse, they are kept briefly, and we never link them to a person.
5. Your device
Your browser holds one short entry from us, recording the answer you gave the storage notice. It is described in the Cookie Policy.
6. Things we have ruled out
- Advertising networks, tracking pixels and analytics suites are absent from every page.
- We compile no profiles of readers.
- We never sell, lend or swap anybody's personal information.
7. Third parties you may touch
The fonts on this site come from Google Fonts, so your browser shares its IP address with Google when it downloads them. Hotel websites we link to apply their own privacy rules once you arrive there.
8. Legal basis and retention
Answering people who write to us is our legitimate interest and the basis for handling their messages. Correspondence is kept only while a conversation is active and is erased no later than twelve months afterwards.
9. Requests you may make
Depending on where you live, privacy law may let you obtain a copy of the data we hold on you, ask for corrections or deletion, restrict or object to certain uses, and complain to your data protection authority. Send any such request by email and we will answer within the time limit your law allows.
10. Children
This guide is aimed at people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly gather information from anyone younger, and if a minor has written to us we will remove that message once we are told.
11. Revisions
Should our practices change, this page will be rewritten and the date at the top adjusted to match.
